Gordon Morison, a former U-S assistant postmaster general
for stamp collecting, is heading up Nordia next year.
Collectors in Scandinavia meet each year, but if there's an
international show in Scandinavia, they look for somewhere
else to gather. The Scandinavian Collectors Club of the U-S
offered to host this one, and decided to pick a climate very

"That is one of the reasons for selecting the Southwest. It
also was timed properly because the international show that
will be in Scandinavia is in the summer."
RUNS :08
Nordia 2001 is being held in conjunction with the annual
Arizona show and the American Philatelic Society's winter
meeting. Morison, a vice president of the A-P-S, hopes stamp
collectors will bring their families.
