Reruns!

The Stamp Collecting Report, I'm Lloyd de Vries.

New postal rates mean lots of new stamps -- no one wants to use one- and two-cent stamps to
make the new rates. But some familiar faces will be coming back with new denominations.

The present designs for Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, the Muslim holiday Eid and Happy Birthday will be
used again for thirty-nine cent versions, as has been the custom for most recent rate changes.
The only holiday issues that get new designs EVERY year are the non-religious Christmas stamps.
The religious Christmas stamps get new designs about every other year.

There's no need to change the designs for the Breast Cancer Research and Stop Family Violence
charity stamps, because they don't have denominations on them. Their price also will stay the
same, forty-five cents, but two cents less will go to charity.

Now another stamp will STICK around at the new rate: The Purple Heart stamp, first issued
three years ago. The reissue is thanks to the efforts of Senator Hillary Clinton and other
New York State politicians.

And that's Stamp Collecting this week.

I'm Lloyd de Vries, CBS News.
