Nine Acres Of Stamps
The Stamp Collecting Report, I'm Lloyd de Vries.
For eight days starting at the end of May, Washington will become a stamp collector's paradise.
Once a decade, the U-S hosts an international show, with rare stamps on display, meetings,
seminars and hundreds of stamp dealers and postal agencies.
"There'll be millions and millions of dollars of stock on the floor and you should be able to
find just about anything."

Bourse chairman Ken Martin says sellers from all over the world are coming.
"There's a dealer from Tunisia signed up, somebody from Ghana...."

and it will be chance to see -- and buy -- stamps that may not be available elsewhere.
"Even if you're there for all 8 days and all 8 hours a day, you aren't going to be able to see
everything or do everything."

And Martin suggests knowing in advance the dealers and exhibits you want to see. There's a
souvenir catalogue for twenty dollars, but you can get a list of dealers and a floor plan on the
Internet for free, at washington dash two thousand six dot org.
And that's Stamp Collecting this week.
