A Feeling Of Fulfillment

The Stamp Collecting Report, I'm Lloyd de Vries. 

If you order U-S stamps on the phone, by mail or on the Web, whether it's for use as postage
 or because you collect them, chances are your order will be filled by a Postal Service 
 operation in Kansas City called Stamp Fulfillment Services. Its manager is Khalid Hussain.

"My focus is to improve the quality of the service, to meet our customers', rather beat, exceed, 
our customers' expectations, and we would like also to diversify some of the offerings."

One of his new offerings is color postmarks for collectors. It took almost four-and-a-half years 
to make it work. The purpose?

"There should be a way that we can signify the importance of the postmark also, which complements 
the  artwork depicted on the stamp."

Unlike most Postal Service managers who work with stamps, Hussain was a collector first...saving 
stamps on mail from his family in Pakistan.

"I didn't know, never knew that I would be  working in this field. I love this. It's a...the
