Some of the fifteen stamps on the Star Wars sheet are hard to peel off, and we may never 
see many on regular mail. But they're not really intended for either STAMP collectors OR 
mailers, are they?

Then there's the Yoda stamp that's coming out at the end of the summer. That was the 
winner of the most-popular-character vote the Postal Service ran on the Internet. The Jedi 
Master squeaked by Darth Vader. 

Call me a cynic, but I never really thought there would be a separate Darth Vader stamp. A 
stamp for a VILLAIN? Why not one for Benedict Arnold? Somehow, I think that had Darth Vader 
been leading, there would have been a last-minute surge of votes for someone -- ANYONE -- else.

I have to admit I voted for Vader as a joke, and I know many other people did, too. Personally, 
while the six films all revolve around the former Anakin Skywalker, I would rather see Luke 
Skywalker, his son, or Han Solo on a separate stamp. They're the heroes of the first three 
films.

Yoda: "Strong am I with the force."
