When's the best time for a stamp auction to close on eBay?

Some collectors swear by weekends , particularly Saturday night. Still others like Sundays.

But we also know that an awful lot of Internet commerce occurs during the work-day... so maybe
that's a good time. If your auction closes on Monday, you might get the best of both weekends
and workplace browsing.

E-Bay runs promotions - free listings, special options, and so on, to encourage you to list.
But as a result eBay is then FLOODED with merchandise, and your stamps might be lost in the
clutter.

E-bay's listings are viewed by collectors all over the world, in many time zones. So the
actual time the  auction closes may not matter that much. And many bidders use "sniping"
programs, that automatically place bids seconds before an auction closes - so, again, the time
of day may not matter.

The bottom line is that the best time to sell stamps on eBay is when you have good merchandise...
That people want.
