“The Deuce is the great American ambassador. Everybody loves hot rods” :04

Barry Meguiar ought to know: His company makes car-car products and he hosts the show
“Car Crazy Television” on the Velocity Channel.

And now there are two stamps featuring Deuce hot rods — based on the 1932 Ford. Meguiar
sees it as the ultimate recognition for these cars.

“Hot rods are such a… they’re so integral to our history, to our culture and really to
the world as an ambassador, a trustee of everything that’s good about America”  :10

Meguiar doesn’t think the U-S Postal Service will have any trouble selling these stamps.

“There’s about 30 million car guys in the United States, it’s a big constituency. About
40 percent of them are hot-rodders. But it’s not just an American phenomenon. There are
hot-rodders all over the world. We go to hot rod shows…. I just came back from the
Moonrise show in Tokyo. Then we went on to Helsinki, Finland for a huge hot rod show” :18

AND… the stamps will available in the booklet format that’s popular with mailers.
