Next year's U-S stamps.

["Imagine" establish :04 and under]

Imagine a John Lennon stamp from the U-S. It's no dream: The U-S Postal Service says the
late Beatle — a naturalized U-S citizen — will be one of next year's stamp subjects.

Other people to be honored are Mister Rogers… astronaut Sally Ride.. and singer Lena Horne,
as part of the Black Heritage series.

Other subjects include flowers and plant life… the beauty of the United States… STEM
education for science, technology, engineering and mathematics… and World War One.

Surprisingly, the war, which made the U-S a world power, only rates one stamp.

There are FOUR stamps for Dragons, FIVE for magic tricks, and TEN for frozen treats like
ice pops.

The U-S Postal Service cautions this is a preliminary list, and issues may be added or
subtracted.

There's no Legends of Hollywood stamp here. There wasn't one last year, but I'm told the
series is NOT dead… so I expect a separate announcement for maximum attention.
