The Stamp Collecting Report, I'm Lloyd de Vries.

Making predictions is always tricky, but here are a few.

Countries around the world, including the U-S, will celebrate the Lunar New Year with
Year of the Dog stamps. They sell well to collectors in Asia.

BRITISH Commonwealth countries undoubtedly will celebrate a royal wedding in May, of
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The U-S has a postal rate hike early in the year, but we won't see as many new issues
for it as in the past. With Forever stamps, they're really not necessary.

There will be a U-S John Lennon stamp this year, renewing its Music Icons series. Other
announced major subjects include Mister Rogers, astronaut Sally Ride, and World War One.
I'll bet there's a Legends of Hollywood stamp, too.

The Postal Service plans to continue holding its stamp launching ceremonies in more
parts of the country, not just New York and Washington. And it has changed the wait time
for a stamp again. Now it's THREE years after a person's death. The only exception is
U-S presidents.
