Britain boasts its 1998 Christmas stamps are blessed by angels. "The five richly-coloured designs each carry a picture of an angel gazing down and bathed in light." They were designed by "Irene von Treskow, who is a curate in the Anglican church and a former art director of Saatchi and Saatchi," the huge international advertising agency. | |
These Wreaths stamps were originally scheduled for this year by the US Postal Service, but weren't needed, and the stamps weren't issued until this year.
